Meet Issy Coombes

Hello, I'm Issy! A Sport Scientist, running and hybrid coach, and researcher passionate about helping athletes perform at their best while protecting their long-term health.

With years of experience working in high-performance sport and a strong academic background in sport science and nutrition, I provide personalised coaching for runners and hybrid athletes, alongside evidence-based RED-S consultations for those experiencing low energy availability, menstrual health concerns, or performance-related issues.

Having experienced RED-S myself, I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to balance training, performance, and health. My goal is to provide practical, individualised support that helps you train with confidence, perform at your best, and build sustainable habits that support both your performance and wellbeing for years to come.
